Welcome to Sharmaji – Truly Indian, your trusted online store for Indian groceries in the UK. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them carefully.

  1. Who We Are
    Sharmaji – Truly Indian is operated by Indian Grocery Store Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15395243). By ordering from us, you are entering into a contract governed by UK law.
  2. Placing an Order
    Your order becomes a binding contract once we confirm dispatch by email. Product availability may vary, and prices may change before you check out. Images are for illustration only.
  3. Delivery
    We deliver across the UK. Most orders placed before 2 pm (Monday to Thursday) are dispatched the same day. Perishable items are dispatched subject to availability. Once dispatched, delivery responsibility transfers to you.
  4. Returns & Refunds
    You may return unopened items within 7 days, unless they are perishable (e.g. fresh produce) or exempt for hygiene reasons (e.g. beauty products). Faulty or damaged goods can be refunded or replaced—please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo.
  5. Privacy & Data Use
    You agree that you have provided, and will continue to provide accurate up to date, and complete information about yourself. We need this information to provide you with the Goods and Services. We will use our reasonable endeavours to respond to any point of dissatisfaction by you, provided you contact us within 60 days of purchase. By submitting your email address to us, you agree to receive marketing material from Sharmaji- Online Indian Grocery Store from time to time. You can unsubscribe or update your preferences at any time. We respect your privacy and follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal data is used only to process your order and communicate with you. We never share it without your consent. By using our site, you agree to the use of cookies to track site usage, abandoned carts & purchases for improvements and marketing purposes.

  6. For consumer: These Terms and Conditions regulate the business relationship between you and us. By using our website in any way, or by buying from us, you agree to be bound by them.

    No person under the age of 18 years may purchase goods or services. If you are under 18, please revisit us once you reach the eligible age. Kindly note that when your order is dispatched, the delivery partner may request valid proof of age if they believe the recipient appears under 18. Should age verification fail or proof not be provided, the package may be returned to us. In such cases, we will issue a refund for the order amount, excluding delivery charges.

  8. International Orders
    If ordering from outside the UK, you're responsible for customs duties and import regulations in your country. We are not liable for delays or inspection at customs.

    We aim for accuracy, but we are not liable for losses arising from website errors, stock changes, or third-party issues such as delivery delays.

    Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once dispatched, cancellations are not guaranteed unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
